Michelle Meier, Fiona Wilson and Miranda Field will read poems from their recent or forthcoming books. The nexus of this event is The Rubin Museum of Art’s 2014 Dreamover, during which Michelle read an original poem to a stranger who turned out to be a publisher.
About the Poets
Miranda Field was born and raised in the UK, lives in Manhattan, and teaches in the writing programs at NYU and Barnard College. She is the author of Swallow (Houghton-Mifflin, 2002) and a forthcoming collection (Four Way Books, 2016).
Fiona Wilson is the author of A Clearance (The Sheep Meadow Press, 2015). She was born in England, grew up in Scotland, and, since 1989, has lived in New York City. She teaches at Sarah Lawrence College.
Michelle Meier is the author of Famous Geranium (Nauset Press, 2015). She taught at Montclair State University and presently works for a private school on the Upper West Side. She is from New York.
