Garland Jeffreys began his career in Greenwich Village clubs and has since released a dozen albums on labels such as A&M, Atlantic, Epic and RCA, featuring an amazing list of guest artists like Lou Reed, Dr. John, Sly & Robbie, David Johansen, Phoebe Snow, Luther Vandross, Randy Brecker, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Duncan Sheik and members of the E Street Band.
