Mind Over Matter Trivia:
– Despite the film being a German production, Werner Herzog decided to shoot the film in English since so few of the actors could speak German.
– Jack Nicholson was originally cast to star in the film.
– During production Klaus Kinski caused such an uproar amongst the crew that one of the native chieftains actually offered to kill Kinski. Herzog declined the offer.
